Well its been suggested I make a quick topic so here it is.

In case anyone is tired of abusive admins or custom server settings and wants to get back to official EA servers then here is how.

Go to the server browser, press R1 to get to the search tab and type in PRGM. This will bring up a full list of servers EA has in the UK region.

Unfortunately you can't filter it by game type but it will make finding EA's Conquest servers much easier if you've been looking for them or any other modes for that matter.

The problem with that is people are naming their servers [DICE] Epic Battles (as an example) which makes them look official.

I asked Dice about this on Twitter and why people are naming them that, reply was "They're probably private servers." I know that!

Asked them if they were going to stop it but no reply.

All you need to do once searching is look at the server details and it will say if it is an official EA or DICE server

That's a handy tip Occident. Searching through pages of crap was really starting to annoy me.

Yeah I've found this to be a problem too, searching for DICE brings up loads of private servers along with EA ones so you have to check the owner profile so its still abit of a pain.

Also if you use DICE as the search it brings up servers all over Europe but searching for PRGM will get you ones specifically in the UK and I imagine most people on this forum are in the UK or Ireland.

I think so, mike_r1971 was on the other day and he only plays CQ and we must have gone through 20 pages of crap servers on the browser and we still ended up in a rented one labelled DICE

that brings up servers that swap between rush and conquest though

There was a nice choice of epic battles, classics, most popular and some hardcore servers when I checked. Its good to mix it up sometimes.
