I don't see sniping over the side of anything as being advantageous over sniping over the side of a building you can climb ladders or stairs on though. And for me, that's key. If I could not kill them, or if they could hold flags, then they yes... But currently they are just an annoyance, like people who take a jet to get on the mast of caspian. Or the smoke stacks of firestorm. Or the hotels on sharqi peninsula. They shouldn't be up there, they just used a tool on the game. In the case of the mav, the tool used is unintentional and should be fixed. But still that doesn't change the preceding.


People do it because they can. I have never seen MAV surfers do anything to win a game. MAV killers on the other hand, can not be touched in their own spawn. That's one hell of an unfair advantage, kill with no risk.

The advantage is gained by being at a higher elevation than anyone else in the game if you take Conquest on Tehran Highway and that overpass for example. They can also move up and down the road unobstructed which runs pretty much the entire length of the map choosing when and where to aim over the side, you can't do that on top of any other buildings in the game. If you can't see how this would give you an unfair advantage (not necessarily to win the game, these people don't care about winning the game - just their KDR presumably) then I won't waste anymore time going into it.

Again I'll ask the question, if you are not gaining an unfair advantage by doing it then why would people do it?

The answer is they wouldn't..............

hehe,that made me laugh my cheeks off,kudos for you..

as for using the mav to get ontop of buildings,its annoying as hell but most places you can still kill the people using this exploit but for that particular spot in tehran there appears to be an invisible wall at places where you can not kill them,your bullets just disappear into thin air. is this cheating? i would say yes it is,as it gives the exploiters a huge advantage over the other team.

also whenever im in a match where the enemy are on the highway,most of the time half/all my team end up forgetting about objectives and try to kill the guys that are constantly killing them over and over from the highway ad we end up losing the match most of the time..

thankfully this will be fixed in a few days so it will no longer be possible,so its not worth reporting or ripping your blouse over anymore
