LAAAAAAAAG!!!!!

ive had BF3 since release and ive only experienced slight lag in certain games but i played it today after not playing for 3 days and theres a message on the main screen sayin lag should be less of an issue but i got into 3 games and every one lagged like crazy to the point were i had to quit, its not my connection because no other games lag, whats going on?

You opened the network ports for the game? or have you put ps3 into dmz? been playing today with no lag at all.

i dunno how to open network ports? but before today lag hasnt been an issue so i dont understand why its lagging so bad now

fi8767, i just do 'quick match' does it matter what server im in then? should i just stick to EU servers?

Make sure you only have EU servers checked in your browser filter.

Oh that must be why then, i used to pick EU servers but today i chose 'quick match, hopefully thats all it is, thanks for the help

EDIT

Do this for all new games mate, or if you really understand you could just use DMZ then all ports will be open no matter the game.
