Just tried it out today...
And oh god is it fun xD!!!

It feels cheap if you use it on anything except the G3, because the kill feed is bugged and it just says you "KILLED" someone, instead of "M26 DART". It reminds me how the MAV kills used to say that before the update, didn't stop people doing it though.

Its a shame about the bug but the M26 is still legit in my opinion if its paired with the G3, because its a long range weapon and has never been good at CQB, so it needs something like the shotgun to make it an all rounder. I'm hardly using it now though, and there are several ways to beat it or avoid it.

It doesn't compare to the awesome power of a belt fed LMG mounted on a bipod in a good spot, which is my new weapon of choice and i've been getting awesome kills with it. If you know the maps and move smartly you can cause havoc with a bipod, thats also so good it feels like cheating, but it isn't.

If you haven't seen the bipod stats for some guns you might be amazed at how different they are and it could change your playstyle forever. LMG's become like automatic sniper rifles with crazy 92% aimed accuracy buffs and only 25% of normal recoil. In the right location they can run at you all day with M26's and get absolutely nowhere. Some of the sniper rifles have had hidden buffs also, like the SV98's new hipfire spread reduction, with a laser on it, it becomes a bolt action one hit kill wonder - fired from the hip, because of the new 1.25X chest multiplier.

There's some real hidden gems to be discovered

Im not a fond user of shotguns, a browse of my stats will confirm that, but I do like to dabble in the G3.

I put the setup on, and this was at reasonably long ranges mind...

I think there's problems, not for me mind :-) when I'm a walking Rail gun takeing out 4 dudes oneshot- all lined up at close-medium range...

I have had fun and as I've posted before I only used this setup in TDM!
