i hit 2 little birds with my tank shells one round and nothing happened to them, they were still flying around like pesky mosquito's. They normaly get disabled after on hit.

A single tank shell to the rear is enough to disable a tank. But form 100% health nothing should destroy a tank in single hit


 

 

 

Its not just tank shells that I have seen hit with no effect. I have seen stingers and Sidewinders score direct hits on aircraft and no hit markers come up. even a C4 IED tank trap detonate but not killthe tank.

 

 

I can only assume its a lag issue.


Neither of these missiles hit. They both completely missed the helicopter when the pilot used the flares :smileysad:

What pees me off is I hit a tank from behind, with a rocket and before I've even reloaded I'm being shot by the machine gun / main gun which has swiveled 180 degrees faster than I can reload, and that's using the RPG

Do you not have something to hide behind?

 

My tactic is normally I'd hit them from the side, then I'd leg it around to the back of them behind cover. While there looking for someone who's shot them from the side, I've already put my 2nd RPG into it's back, disabling it, then same again. I always  keep moving, making sure I have cover to duck behind. 

 

It's harder if they have a proximity scan, or that 2nd gunner, or even the 3rd guy that spots, since he can look around faster.

 

With VOIP fixed now. The squad was able to pin a tank down, while I flanked from behind taking out the tank & the Engineer. COMMS has made this game so much better

LOL I told Cloudy, and I'll tell you...don't reload in the open then :smileytongue:

I saw somebody do that yesterday, he hits the tank I swivel around and see him stood there reloading.
