So i come here to propose about creating a OPC community platoon.

What is a platoon?

Basically its a hive , where it keeps track of the players stats of all the members   Platoons are groups of up to 100 players that band together under a single name and emblem. It's what other shooters would call a clan. You can belong to three different Platoons at any time. You can invite and whose games you can join whenever you're online. Any way that is my understanding of it. Stats earned by our members will contribute to our overall standing as a platoon. There is no need to take this seriously though, its just about having fun with fellow forum members!

Firstly,

you need activate your Battlelog you can do that here : http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/

There are people having issues activating there account, so it may take a while to happen.

Anyone who has played an online EA game, in theory should have an account, you will need an email address, and password.

So...

Hopefully it can be a place where Battlefield nights take place, or just a place for members to hang out and have fun.

What i am wanting though is names of people wanting to joining and helping in the creation of the platoon. First thing first though is we need a platoon name. I suggest keeping it OPC based, but something we can all agree on. Once that is settled, i guess we can create a new thread, or Muster buster, or some other nice Mod can make a nice thread with details how to join etc. 

I would also imagine we will use the same name, for the group section on MW3 Elite.

Not yet. Just wanting a final name.  Some thing that is agreed upon bascially, but representing the community.  I guess OPC Fun Nights, or OPC (SOMETHING). will do.

sounds like a cool idea (its like a clan, but flexable! kept saying games need a 'groups' idea running but they all just seemed to stick to the regular clan idea).

will be handy for all the OPC members and sure its something the community would be after.

aye something like that. But i guess it has to be something that is recognisable for people who are browsing platoons on the battlelog to know that its from this site. If that makes sense :s

OPC:EU ? Is that ok?

OPC:UK (&IRE - if need be)
