Ive got vietnam and the specat unlocks just wondering is it worth getting onslaught mode, is it any good?

Its not bad its a co-op only fun game mode where you do a checkpoint progression from A to D or whatever if you like co-op like Resistance 2 co-op it might float your boat i quite like it.

Is online or offline only? and do you have to invite people or does it find them randomly?

you have two options

 

private or public

 

private is for you and your friends to fight it out against the AI team

 

or

 

public is for you to start out and then other people will join in and you fight against the AI team

 

the onslaught mode is for upto 4 people or 3 and yourself

 

and its online
