The @Battlefield account announced on Twitter that the long awaited patch for BF3 is to come to PS3 on the 27th of March, with the Xbox and PC versions to follow shortly. This post was also linked to a Battlefield blog post detailing the fixes and changes being included in the patch.
From what i've read the notes for fixes seem practically the same but extra news about new features has been added
. These include:
DISABLE ANTI-ALIASING ON PS3 TO REDUCE INPUT LAG
PlayStation 3 players may now turn off anti-alias in the options menu to reduce input lag.
IMPROVEMENTS TO MINIMAP
we are also adjusting the level of detail to give a clearer picture for players when using the mini-map.
The three new mini map modes are:

Gustav Halling tweeted that a bug was found in the PC and Xbox patches which doesn't appear in the PS3 patch:

That's the reason for the delays on the other formats. Kind of funny reading all the comments from people convinced Sony has an exclusivity deal on patches ![]()
