I have been "Killed by admin" and forced switched teams so many times now it's getting beyond a joke, If I'm playing with 3 real life dudes and I'm top of the team I dont want switched to your *****ty losing team! or moved away from my friends *****.

It's disgusting that people are even allowed to do this and get away with it, and to make it worse its impossible to find official dice servers nowadays.

not sure about having an admin messing about with sides to take full advantage for his own personal gain, but surely having a sensible admin who tries to even up the teams a bit and make a closer, more compelling game is a pretty good idea?

guess its less about the powers they have and more about how they use them lol.

I honestly wouldn't mind switching to even the teams, if I was playing solo or if he even asked first via pm or something, but when your playing with friends its hard enough getting into the same team due to the rubbish party system.

Half the time we get split up etc.... I dont need admins using their powers to put me on their team without my consent, its so damn frustrating!

I have used my Admin killing power recently to get people off my servers, sometimes rather than kicking or banning someone its a way of 'inviting' them to leave the game. If they enter the game with the purpose of disrupting it for everyone else, I might disrupt their fun too. It doesn't cost them an actual stat death, just annoyance.

Some players don't even seem to like this game or enjoy playing it, their fun comes from spoiling it for everybody to get a reaction. These are the people who ignore flags in conquest and head straight for the enemy base at the start of the game.

I'm not saying this is what happened to you. I've also tried to use it to balance games but its ultimately impossible, if you get too deep into it you don't even get chance to play yourself. The equations have too many variables to manage dynamically. How many crap players does it take to balance against a good clan of fewer number?. I gave up trying to make it fair in that way, if people are getting beat bad they'll quit. The admin can't help them really - without breaking up friends as you pointed out.

The team balancing I meant, its seems best left alone except in extreme circumstances. The best thing an admin could do to even the odds is enforce the 'no spawn camping' rule as described by EA in their rules of conduct document, and i've seen a lot doing it now the server scheme has expanded.

Even if the odds are tipped against a specific team, if you can let them spawn safely at their base and leave in a vehicle - sooner or later they'll go and cap some flags. In theory anyway....

After a full day yesterday of being switched, killed and banned for playing good I'm of the following mindset.

Admin are cheating *****ing scum.

I would avoid them normally but my friends like rolling the dice with custom servers and as far as I'm concerned there should be no admin powers beyond the game settings, every game they have this its used for the sole purpose of cheating and it screws the game up. Just because you rent a server to play on does not give you the right to wreck the game for the majority.

I can see the point if someone is glitching, or abusing game mechanics and whatnot....

As far as im concerned, if a player is within the boundaries of the actualy game rules and not physicaly cheating in any way then an admin has >NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER< to kick or move them, I dont care if the admin is getting beaten by his mad pilot/tank skills, or his group of friends, or whatever gun hes using etc, the fact is the guy is playing legit and so are his/her tactics, deal with it.

Admin killing is just pathetic, it dosen't even give them a death its just a minor inconvinience and shows them how raging you are.

The same goes for "XYZ Gun only servers" or "No Tanks only Jet" etc, I'm pretty sure servers like this arn't even allowed by DICE, and yet they clog up the list like mad.

I've only played in a couple of rented servers I liked the set up of and I haven't had any problems. There's a good one if you search "standard settings" which has all maps, including Karkand, on Conquest, nicely mixed up too I recommend. There's no kicks I'm aware of.

I find most of the servers I spawn at the beginning, see the high ticket count, and exit straight away. Why can't we view the ticket count before we join the server? It's so annoying. Unless stated in the server description there is no way of knowing the ticket count. I don't want to play levels for over an hour.

there rules should be stated at the main screen b4 your entry too game, you can lock your squad ,i do not no if it will solve your problem but in it self that can cause another problem if u r 2/3 squad ie next person maybe left whith out a squad which i can vouch 4 can be a tad frustrating .

To finish my ramble only sure way PM server host/s ask them not to do it if they decline your well mannered requests ,tell him too kiss toilet body part .And buy your own then you & your friends & hopefully me can play a descriptive game of BF3.
