Started playing BF3 in 576p, my god, the controller input lag is greatly reduced, makes the game a lot more playable, anyone else playing this way? Sure it's a bit ugly, but you soon get used go that. Worth a go if ya haven't tried it yet. Sorry if posted before.

I got rid of controller lag by simply changing the HDTV to its 'Game' setting. Have you tried that?

I've never had 'input lag' so continue to play in 720p.

Tbf to cod it allowed you to talk to teammates since launch on every single title.

I tried this a while ago, and the controls were tight and responsive. But the fact is I refuse to play the game in SD simply becuase there is a refusal to recognise that only BF3 has this issue for me.

Black Ops had terrible comms and MW3 is has huge problems with lag and a terrible spawn system. 

At least BF3 is playable. The only gripe I have with the spawning is at flag A on Seine crossing. Really annoys me when I'm capturing the flag stood in the garage only to have an enemy spawn right behind me

I never use the comms except with people I know. Always have done all games except SOCOM Confrontation (no comms then you are f***ed on that game ) and they're usually fine. Its only when 3 or 4 all have the comms on that it starts to go buggy.

Yes it is. 50 inches of turd that offends my TV.

Plus it makes you useless at range. A tank over a few hundred meters looks like a pile of pixels dry humping each other in some sort of audio visual orgy.
