Rush, mode!

This is for all the new comers to battlefield, (i'm giving them the benifit of the doubt)

tho object of rush mode is:

A) Attacking, plant charges at the mcom statiions, the big letters on screen! not run away from them, and defend the charges till they go boom.

B) Defending: stop attackers from planting charges at mcom stations, or if they have defuse, said charges.

i only bring this up, as most people playing this beta seem to be blissfully unaware of the existance of the mcoms, or think the letters on screen are some type of glitch.

Just to put fuel on the fire, i am a Cod gamer and when i play the game i die a lot, very rare do i die on a 1v1 situation, Battlefield for me seems to be full of campers.  All i see on playback is people laid in the grass.

Apologies to those who don't camp and this is just my experience of playing the Beta.

[ Edited ]

Battlefield rush is played a diferent way to CoD. Attakers have a limited number of lives(tickets) and the maps are linear.

Most newbies to battlefield don't realise this.

You can't run around like a headless chicken on BF, especially in open areas. Using cover and pinning down choke points as a team is not the same as sitting in the same corner of a room, for the whole game, hoping someone walks past.

Yes you will get people doing that on BF, but all routes too objectives should be held. Camping yes! But it's legitimate gameplay for a game mode like rush.

Anyway as everyone ranks up and unlocks new toys, the gameplay and tactics will change.

But yea i agree with the OP, people at least TRY and defuse the Mcom.

Thats how BF is played you don't get into 1v1s very often unless you are in an enclosed area.

Re: Rush, mode!

when playing 'Rush', you have to i take into account the fact that if you are attacking then you will have a limited number of tickets therefore you are more likely to slow your playing style and help the team by not constantly running all over with guns blazing, you have to use tactics to out think your enemy push forward using the environment as cover, plant a radio beacons as a mobile spawn point for your team/squad.

when defending yes you are more likely going to find campers that will be positioned near the M-COMM stations the whole idea is to take cover and stop the attacking team from arming the stations, the defending team will be trying to wipeout the attacking teams tickets a.s.a.p.

teamwork is essential; well that's my understanding of it all anyway

Hi.

Maybe they think "mcom" is some kind of weird sandwhich :Stupid:
