The camo is purely cosmetic and is hardly noticeable on your own gun. I think l've noticed it only a few times on the killcam as well.

But as I mentioned in the other topic, any new assignments are a good thing, and an incentive to play slightly different to usual while trying other weapons as well. I dont get on with the SCAR(s), but it sure made that last assignment interesting XD

Agreed. The assignments force  you to play outside your comfort zone & inject new life into the game.
I shall not however be using an EOD Bot ever again.

I like the new assignments but I do wish they released the camos for different weapons instead of the same ones again.

I'm surprised there's no EOD M-COM Arm in Rush as a new assignment. I've only ever seen someone pull it off once and it got disarmed straight away. But it's definitely something I'll try to inject into my gameplay over the next week if I actually play Rush.

I don't mind playing the assignments but the L96 ones are just stupid and encourage the old BFBC wookies to come crawling out the woodwork.

@ Celtic,  I finished the L96 assignment in a couple of hours yesterday,  hardly any sniping involved lol.  I joined a game of Operation Firestorm for the +350M headshot,  then got the 100 kills in a few rounds of hardcore Ziba Tower.  I got the MAV spot assists on Ziba also.

If you don't like playing as a wookie you don't really have to,  in hardcore mode the L96 is great with iron sights for close quarters one shot kills.  I agree though there'll be a lot who won't do it that way,  instead spending hour after hour sitting on a hill somewhere

Why aren't those assignments unlocked for me I see them but they are still blacked out

Would have made more sense if completion of camo assignments enabled you to use those camo's on any of your guns rather than limiting them to a specific weapon.

Still, makes for funny reading on Battlelog forums. Some of the complaining is quite OTT.

Dunno mate.  You definitely bought Premium?  maybe you should get a new PS3 and re-install everything.
