Well, the latest in the patch line and the sound issue is even worse than before ! 

I played five games tonight and the sound vanished  completely on four games intermittently.

It feels like each time they patch Battle*****ed 3 they screw something else up.

Will this game ever be right?

PS why does the Sony Playstation Forum web page take so long to load on the Sony Playstation 3 ?

hi killer cant say i ever had a sound issue on bf3, on bc2 tho i get it quite often but not on bf3 for some strange reason if you can explain that.

I also have this issue, everything is just silent and can't even hear the enemy shooting at me which is a disadvantage to me. Quite annoying how it got worse from the latest patch, I knew something would go wrong...

I never had it before,  but I do now since the patch.  

I thought my ears had gone funny.  Hope they fix it,  when the sound goes off I take more damage because I don't react as much to gunfire,  I stand there like a stupid bullet magnet trying to decide if i'm really being shot at and where from.  

With sound though its different,  I seem to get to cover as soon as I hear the noise rather than wait for the visual clues.  

Sound keeps me alive longer lol

i had it before the patch and the patch hasnt fixed it either so go figure, fix one thing break another...

Ive had this happen almost since the game was released. It does seem to have got worse since the patch though. Could it be down to lag of some sort?
