Is there actually any punishment to team killing apart from losing points?

Sick of joining hardcore Rush / Con to get constantly killed by these stupid little kids when I spawn in.

There is a trophy for 5 knife kills of friends that are on your friend list. Not sure if that includes team killing though. I doubt it to be honest.

No it doesn't work knifing team friends. The only negative encouragement through awards/trophies is the nemesis revenge related pin (meaning you need to get owned to get it).

No, but I got annoyed the other day when there were these two guys who original were a Medic and an Assualt guy, but then turned into Recon class and kept spawning right were I was everytime they died. I was getting all the kills and points, then one just stands righ in front of me, and shoots me, I then spawn on them and kill both and then continue to kill the enemy. Anyway, they left the match because everytime they tried killing me I would hear them come and kill them. They then left the game. I had a 5000 pont game, was well happy had over 30 kills less than 10 deaths and defused the bomb atleast 5 times. I was ace.
