But that is still not input lag! The community is a bit confused on this subject, which is not helping. Pc's complained about poor mouse acceleration, this seems similar to me.

Maybe the clip I posted is a bit misleading. I understand that input lag is the delay in response from the player pressing a button, or stick in a direction, and the time it takes for the game to register/perform said movement.

The video posted is to do with another issue, which when combined with input lag, could be the exact problem I am experiencing. Its certainly feasible. There are also a ton of input lag clips on youtube.

@LSD-39... Who said

"I don't make snap twitchy turns like that, in fact I have the sensitivity very low to help me aim"

Like the uploader in the comments section of the video says in response to

"Have you tried playing normally. who the hell flicks it like that when playing?"

"Not me! But that is irrelevant, actually. But when you flick the stick as shown, it doesn't mean that the game is able to move faster than it already can (which you see in the other games).

The point is that it cannot keep up with its own speed! So if you move in any way that the game finds difficult to perform, it won't listen to your input.

In other words: Moving right means moving right. Moving right does not mean ''Err... did you mean here? Or here? Or this place again?"

I know how you feel. Its getting worse for me too. I'm constantly getting killed with just 2 shots yet if I'm lucky enough to get a kill, I need nearly a full clip on some occasions to get it.

That's network lag, which is different to this "input lag" issue.

:smileyvery-happy: I was hoping nobody would pick me up on my glaring stupidity.

Re: The OMFG fix the Bloody Input Lag thread

I've never had a problem with the big TV downstairs but I'm getting a smaller HDTV for my room because I can never read anyone's name on the TV I'm using which is no good when you're trying to warn one of your team mates there's someone behind them and you can't tell which one it is. Just a couple of questions so I can hopefully avoid this issue. 1) What makes are people getting input lag using? 2) Are you using older tellies? 3) Are you using tellies with a 'Game' setting? Thanks.

Re: The OMFG fix the Bloody Input Lag thread

people should just move their thumbs and trigger fingers quicker, therefore no lag input :smileyhappy:

You guys do not understand, INPUT LAG is a feature of the game. You can either have good graphics an spot enemies far far away and input lag or bad graphics and no input lag (at 576p) so it is balanced. I don't see how it is going to be fixed.

The day we casually start to say things like input lag is a feature is the day console gaming dies.

Either the game runs smoothly in all resolutions, or you dont bother making it for all resolutions. If we want to offset some settings to get better results in different areas we would all be on PCs.

Its the same with the 20 minute disconnections. Its people using wireless on certain ISPs that get this issue. But that isn't DICEs fault its EAs *****e servers

Nah, its affecting me too. I'm with Be and only use a wired connection. Made sure my setup was perfect tonight but still disconnected every 20 minutes. Sucks missing out on ribbons and bonuses as a result.

Why does the best MP around have to be on EA's servers? heh. :smileysad:

Are you on BT?

I must of thought I'd heard about it being something to do with the home hub on wireless. I know what thats called, I remember learning about it during my psychology A-level but can't remember what its called :Stupid:(irony not intended:smileysad:).Even remember the study case, it was a traditional tribal story about a fishing trip and the participants had to recall the story later and psychologists found that when the participants had to recall the story parts of it changed using things that were more familiar.

Edit:

Bartlett: War of the ghosts :smileyvery-happy: It was to about reconstructive memory and to a later extent the reliability of Eye witness testimony to use as evidence in court.

Here is the story

Also it wasn't fishing it was seal hunting, which happen to prove his point
