I've seen less MAV kills recently, but there is a massive spike in USAS frag round usage. I think it does the same damage a LAV does. It even does damage to tanks!
Mostly its really disorientating when your getting shot at to. The person doesn't even have to aim at you, just around you. It's a cheap as chip kill weapon, no skill, don't even need to aim!
You do come across it less in hardcore mode I find, so I may move away from ''sissy girlie'' mode.

I had a good couple of kills against people using the USAS today
The first one the guy was at the top of these stairs I was going up, as soon as I see him I jump back down. The rounds narrowly miss me and he has to reload. As soon as I hear him doing it I charge up them and go around this big metal cylinder thing. I come around the ther side to see him prone just staring at the stairs I quickly put a few rounds into his stull to show him the error of his ways. The other one wasnt really my kill but it was because of me that he died. I was behind a storage container and peek out to see a recon guy running towards me with his USAS, I quickly take a step back to be more behind it and he opens fire and blows himself up.

Not as simple as that. It either has to hit you or something near you to do damage. If its close to you but does not hit anything then it won't do any damage though will suppress you as any projectile would 
And it definitely does no damage to tanks

Not as simple as that. It either has to hit you or something near you to do damage. If its close to you but does not hit anything then it won't do any damage though will suppress you as any projectile would
All you need to do is shoot at the ground of the person, and your dead in most cases, so it's simple enough haha.
I near sure it does damage to IFV at least or that other pansy van with the gun on top, with a max speed of 5mph. Not sure why I wrote tank.

) I was down near the construction site. Lined my SMAW up fired watched it arc down BOOM straight in his body 
(might have been tricky 
) But we all started doing it and all got a few kills each
