Can everybody recommend their favourite setups for each class? I think some of the weapons we start out with are fairly poor (especially the the assault class rifle, grr) so it would be really helpful to know which guns to look out for and an idea of at what rank they become available.

Just seems that the info guide in the class setup is very basic, and you can't compare various stats such as recoil, accuracy, reload, etc between weapons, which some other games tend to offer. I'm at rank 8 and finally unlocked SCAR for the engineer class but with assault my options are limited to the first rifle (forget what it is now) and a few shotguns

Help a noob, please.

Well, I only use Support now with M240B. But when I used Assault, I would use M416, which is the second gun unlock for that class.

I would personally say it's not necessarily about what specific gun you have, but the unlocks for that gun... Try picking one, jump into a TDM match with it and get a nice scope (NV), foregrip and suppressor.

Having said that, the guns you unlock via co-op are pretty nice. Especially the assault and engineer ones

Heh, funny you should say that I did jump into a TDM to experiment with a different weapon. It didn't end at all well: 0-7 k/d Spawn points were terrible though.

I'm not liking some of the scopes so far, I find iron sights easier. How the hell do I unlock foregrip?

I tend to just use what ever newest gun I've unlocked really. I haven't used any shotguns yet, nor sniper rifles.

I recently just got the G36C for Engineer, it's pretty good. I like the look of the gun to.

I also just unlocked the M16A4. Its pretty good at medium to long range. It's semi auto though, so I find I lose more fights when someone is about 5 feet from me. Full auto up close is what you need.

Just keep shooting people with that gun

I like the NV scopes simply for the fact that they make people really easy to spot.

I'm fond of the X4 & holo scopes...I've never used iron sites that much for this game, but I used them loads in BC2.

I'm waiting karkland pack to come out before I work on that class. I just hope the famous is good.

With the engeneer I like the ak47u with 4x scope, grip and heavy barrel. Waiting to unlock the IR scope

Is there anywhere where you can see the gun's stats ? and where adding bits etc adds / takes away from stats ?
