Just be prepared, that thing is not as easy as it looks to control :smileyvery-happy:

LOL I think flying a plane or helicopter is easier :smileyvery-happy:

Well considering I only got premium on Saturday, but never really started playing properly until Monday. I've only 2 weapon specific assignments left (Bullet Point & Hold the Trigger), and 3 dog tags (4 including the Jack of all Trades) assignments which I'm not entirely fused about anyway. They will unlock naturally over time.

They've been quite fun to do.

I'll have to be in the right mood and frame of mind for the 50 kills with Sniper Rifles as I cant just sit back and still end up running in for objectives wielding a great sniper rifle :smileyvery-happy:

I'm 14 kills into 100 kills with Sub Machine Guns. Then its the Finish top 5 in Gun Master which is what I doubt I'll ever get at my skill level :smileysad:

Re: assignments - hints and tips

I got my EOD bot kill last night on nosehair canals (i know that not how its spelt :smileytongue:)

while my squad had an enemy squad under suppression on the ramp up out of the water (front, middle of map). When they tried to hide under the side edge of the ramp that my squad was on (with me on the oposite side to the ramp, i dropped my EOD bot and ran over and killed on of them that had their back to me

as for grenades, i dont really use them too often with an aim of killing, ore for suppressive effect, i would much prefer concussive of flashbangs than frags. but the frags are useless enough to basically be used as concussive

I'd recommend the SKS for the sniper rifle assignment for anyone who hates sniping. It's a beast for close to medium range combat with the iron site or holo/kobra. I don't think I'll ever get the assignment for kills with the L96 I hate sniping that much.

Managed to get 4th in my second attempt at Gun Master. Only problem being I haven't unlocked that particular assignment yet.:smileysad:

i found that its alot easier to control in 3rd person view, just click R3 (or whaever u have the vehcile view button assigned as)

the problem being with internam view you seem to be lookin where the repair tool arm is pointing with no indication of what way the body of the bot is pointing

Oh I don't mind sniping, but I have to be in the right frame of mind for it, usually I end up getting stuck in and not playing the role properly :smileyhappy:

Yeah tell me about the SKS :smileysad: I was getting owned on the new Close Quarters maps the other day by a guy sniping with an SKS and beating me every time :Shame:

Yeah that's first thing I did. But it still doesn't help the fact that if you run into some debris, or a kerb, or hits something it flips about wildly like a bunking bronco and you always end up pointing in the wrong direction :smileysad:

I expect it to have an engine brake like a tank with it being tracked instead of it coasting into objects . But once you get used to it (which can take a while) its not too bad to control if you take your time.
