Why the hell do people treat conquest like TDM , especially on smaller/less vehicle based maps .

It really winds me up ,i mean you bought it do what u like yes ,but do it right .So hard too find good team players these days...thats why i got the game TEAM is what BF3 means .

If you are a Stat Emu=not team player explain here or if u think am a d*** explain .

well, i have have on occassion when chasing certain ribbons concentrated more on the kills than temaplay or objectives but generally i would agree with you on this.

the source of the problem seems to be a crap COD this year, which has driven "lone wolf" or stat-focused gamers to battlefield 3. your best bet is to get a good squad of guys from your friends list and take a run at a conquest game.

the amount of stat-padding gameplay i find on battlefield is unbelievable.

as you say there is TDM for the COD players, but this does not allow then to use the full set of vehicles or larger maps.
we need some "epic team death match" servers with large maps, all the vehicles and no objective, other than kills

this would be a gaint noob trap, to attract all the noobs away from our conquest games

i find this quite often too, at the mo i will not play BF3 alone, i will always team up with a friend, XDer or PS Forumer =)

I'm not sure if I understand, do you mean teams not capturing the flags & just going for kills? I've only seen this happen when our team has no chance of winning with flags, so we try to go for kills, which still helps as it reduces tickets for the other team. But that's a last resort , which never really works anyway haha.

Mostly I just seen teams keeping 1 more flag than the other team then just going for kills.

example metro u have B they have C A 1 off them is by your base .you now all the other team ore at each side .IE no body at A C go home base take flagg=conquest do not keep spawning on bloody B .It turns conquest into TDM IMOP .

can anyone translate

if im right he means that when playing on metro,

- his team has the central objective (B)

- the enemy have the the objective closest to their base (A/C - depending on which faction you are playing as)

- the enemy have the one furthest from their base (A/C - depending on which faction you are playing as)

- nobody from his team tries to capture the other objectives (A & C)

- they just dig in and try to get as many kills as possible

I'm guilty of doing that sometimes, usually in the alley on Grand Bazaar. Not to play as a TDM though, usually just to prevent the other team from controlling all 3 flags and I find if I try to take the one nearest team base, its usually just me doing so and therefore outnumbered against their guys when they turn around to defend the flag.

That happens to me alot...
I just go for the flags regardless, I find that when I do manage to push forward or cap the enemys flag it spurs the rest of the team to push and cap, as many feel "what's the point" untill they see hope that I supply!!!
Many games have been going against us (almost no hope) and have been pulled back and won because of this!
Don't give up like the rest of your team, give them hope and they will win.

I just run around looking for the nearest open branch of KFC!

and cap all the flags to the best of my ability...! I hate to lose and i hate too much lettuce in my burgers!
