3D blu ray question

I have a sony HD 3D tv when i play a 3D movie that has both the 2D and the 3D version it automatically swtiches to 3D mode, is there a way to make it choose the 2D version by default when i first load up the moviean example of this is "the green hornet 3D" , the reason being i don't want to have to put on my 3D glasses just to change to the 2D version rather vice versa, and i know why would i want to watch the 2D when i have a 3D tv it's because i only have 2 sets of 3D glasses and if there are more than 2 people watching

The only way you could do it would be to turn the 3D off on the TV itself. i have a Samsung 3D Tv and thats what I usually do for movies.
