Paranormal Activity

Scariest movie I have ever seen (I don't watch scary movies soo yea..) everyone in the cinima sh*t themselfs... The ending omg all I can say is "OMGWTFBBQ!" it was just like ZOMG /miss a heart beat.

It was built up to be this epic scary movie and daym I was scared. Heart pumped like never before.

The guy in the movie though, whoa he has got a big pair on him...

Apparently based on a "true story".

Re: Paranormal Activity

IMHO the alternate endings aren't as good as the original

This will sound weird considering the subject material of the film however I found the alternate endings required too much of a suspension of disbelief. Therefore they took away from the rest of the movie.

I am a Nerd, fine. However these days aren't we all?

Re: Paranormal Activity

Meh, the ending sucked imo, and seriously not scary at all, dnt know why everyone is raving on about how scary it is.....i remember watching Evil Dead and The Exorcist when i was a pup, now they were scary for their time.

Re: Paranormal Activity

So I watched it , thought I was going to be so scared..

I really enjoyed it for the freak - out factor but also thinking it was real

but sorry people it wasn't real, based on the director moving to a new house and getting used to his surrounding and hearing things he wasn't familiar with.

If it was real OMG I agree I would be terrified.

Re: Paranormal Activity

Agree. Personally it was very disappointing to the point of predictability. This was done much better 36 years earlier with The Exorcist. But the younger generation don't seem to bother with what that class as "old" films do they?

Re: Paranormal Activity

I only liked one scene,

*SPOILERS*

When.. ugh, it's been a while, I've forgotten their names. When the girl gets pulled out of their bed and dragged down the hallway. I thought that was awesome and really well done. The rest of the movie was just alright, been done many times before. And boy was that guy an idiot. I don't know what ending is the 'original' ending, but the one I saw the girl stabbed the guy and got shot by a cop. I've heard there are two others, where she carries his body up the stairs and then lunges at the camera, and another where she slits her throat or wrists. I should youtube 'em. Decent flick though there are much scarier films. Even after 2000 -- Dog Soldiers & The Descent, anyone? Neil Marshall is the best horror director in the past decade IMO.
