Can't believe there isn't a thread for this. Ridley Scott's return to science fiction and the roots of his career with an Alien prequel.

I won't say anymore of the trailer itself other than it is really astounding in my view. Alien has been with me since my childhood so I really am happy Ridley has finally come back.

My feelings exactly man! Ridley definitely has a bigger canvas this time but it looks to have the same the same dna of atmosphere. Can people spot the really quick glimpse of something on the lab table...

Saw this last week.

Great movie, but I have a feeling that some of the references to Alien might be a little to obscure for most people.

I advise anyone who can to watch the special features for Alien before watching this movie, because alot of it is (The original writer of Alien) Dan O'Bannon's original ideas.
