Last watched - Flight 666 - The documentry wasn't too great but as always it's great to see behind the scenes of a bad, and Iron Maiden are a great bunch of blokes. 8/10.

tyson 2008 documentary blueray cover art

8.5/10 - very well made documentary, I enjoyed man on wire equally and that won the academy award for best documentary this year. if your are or were a tyson fan or into boxing its well worth buying but even if you hate tyson and are not into boxing I still recommend renting it out or going to see it at the cinemas. it doesn't come out till August here (in cinemas) but the blueray\dvd has been released in the UK

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched

The last movie I watched was Changeling with Angelina Jolie.

Totally not what I was expecting but worth the watch. You never see the twist coming and it just has some awesome acting by both AJ and Jeffrey Donovan.

A little bit slow to start with but the climax is killer.

9/10.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched

Last night I watched Matrix: Reloaded, very awesome movie, not as good as the first one, but very good, love the fight between Neo & Smith's & the highway chase. The twins are awesome as well, it would of been good to see more of them but they served their purpose.

9/10

as much as people bag the sequels, there not bad movies it's just that the first movie was completely revolutionary the sequels didn't go backwards but they weren't as special

He's just not that into you. Pretty good with lots of cute A list actresses :smileyhappy: 8/10

Terminator salvation, 7/10.Surprisingly good after all the bad reviews I've seen.

I thought the other dude was the star of this and without him this would not have been as good, don't want to go into more detail due to potential spoilers.

Crank 2 High Voltage. 9.5/10, this was awesome, heaps of action and comedy, one funny action scene after another. Started of a bit B-grade, but about 15minutes in it started to become awesome, and just got more s and more so...

Sometimes they go backwards :smileyvery-happy:.

and I tend to disagree...you do get those

rare sequels like Godfather part 2,

Empire Strikes Back etc.

Where the film is great...but more often than

not sequels in Hollywood (see what I did there :smileyvery-happy::smileyvery-happy:)

are just a cash cow..so the story suffers,

The effects get better most of the time..

good examples are The Matrix movies

the new Star Wars films, new Indiana Jones etc.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched

The last film I watched was "Blindness", which stars Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Danny Glover and Gael Garcia Bernal.  The film is an adaptation of a novel and follows a blindness epidemic that afflicts almost everyone in an unnamed city, and the breakdown of society thereafter when all of the blind folk are left to fend for themselves in a quarantine facility.  The story was alright but I was compelled by how the blind folk governed themselves in the facility, and the power struggles that occurred in the facility.  I'm a sucker for these sorts of "what-if"/dystopian movies that are making comments about society.  Children of Men is one of my favourite movies.  I'd give Blindness 8 out of 10.

I was just referring to the Matrix sequels, they were good movies regardless of what most people say

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched

Day of the Dead 1985, George Romero

Old i know but suprisingly good just like the original dawn of the dead, nothing like a good quality B grade movie on a lazy sunday arvo.
