Re: Star Wars Saga Blu-ray Announced

Old George just can't stop tinkering can he.... :Stupid:

Changes I've heard of include blinking ewoks (I can accept that) and Vader doing a ROTS style "nooooooooo!" throwing Palpatine down the core (why?????)

Re: Star Wars Saga Blu-ray Announced

I got given this for Fathers Day (nice one son/wife).

I can live with the added in bits (they're George's films to do with as he wishes after all)!! The worst one's for me have always been Hayden Christensen appearing in ROTJ in the Jedi ghost line-up at the end and the voice of Jake The Muss as Boba Fett.

I think they've done a very nice restoration job on the original trilogy visuals-wise.

Ugh, it's so bad. When Luke sees them, shouldn't he say "Who the f*** is that young guy with you, Masters?!?"

I don't mind that one, mainly for the sake of continuity with the prequels. Just hope nobody refuses to cook any of Boba's friends some eggs... :No-no:

Also glad they got rid of the puppet Yoda in Episode 1, compared to the puppet they used in the OT the Ep 1 version was an absolute abomination.

Re: Star Wars Saga Blu-ray Announced

He should have said... "who is that whiney ***** standing next to you guys?".... then pondered that up until his own dressed in black, zen phase during ROTJ, he was pretty whiney himself...
