After seeing the atrocious video (in the other thread), I was wondering who is actually gonna buy this, just check out how many dislikes the video has in comparison to likes (last count was ... 92 likes, 1,585 dislikes).

criterion are trading on the reputation of a great series to sell a half assed arcade psn game

No way, it looks like a java app. Typically, if I like a franchise I'll buy the next offering regardless. I don't read reviews or metacritic or anything like that. I think this will be the first exception to that. Ever.  Severely disappointing.

Nope i will be avoiding like the plague like i said in another thread ill play crash mode on Ps2 or PsP.

If i fancy a bit of mayhem Burnout 3 Takedown crash mode still offers more than this PSN title and it's over seven years old.

I can assure everyone that under no circumstances, unless Criterion Games make this a lot better, I will be not buying this game which appears rushed and desperate. In some ways it even looks like it's just an old game from the PS2 and Criterion are calling it the new Burnout .

Flash-typed free versions of this sort of game are even better. I liked Paradise more, and in these 3 years, they could have created a much better game than this crap.
