avatar change did nothing criterion page ( the screen you see twitter etc) my stats are there but upon entering game it starts over, just to clarify avatar change did nothing exept for my avatar now appears on my licence , i had it on disc ages ago sold it & got ps+ version & thats the situation anyone got a fix , its not my avatar

anymore info on this? It happened to me yesterday and i have no idea why it also happened to my friend who I was playing with at the time. I was using the disc version if that makes any difference

Just went on mine and had this problem, it was like I had just put the disc in for the first time, but I have (correction- had) platinum cars, all events complete, all cars except paid cars and Diamond P12, which I was doing challenges to get, over 300 done, nearly 200 hours of gameplay in total. Absolutely gutted. I just hope someone finds a fix or something. Also had 3 beeps when I quit the game last, and have a premium Uncharted avatar as that seems to potentially have something to do with it. I downloaded the free PS plus version to play without having to use the disc but save wasn't compatible so I deleted it once my 30 days ran out.

I was told that if you have more than 130 rivals when you power off your machine the next time you play it will have reset your game back to the start.... It happened to me. I had 100% complete and all 500 chalenges done... I didn't lose any online stats just the local game play....I then replayed the game and always back it up with a flash drive after I start it up to make sure its good..... It just happened again but was able to copy the game back from my flash drive.... Watch your rival count and back up your game....This won't get your game back now but will help in the future........ trickme33kid and trickme33

Oh by the way I haven't used any special avatar just had too many rivals.....so not sure avatar have anything to do with it.....  trickme33
