Parking lot syndrome in Cops and Robbers

[ Edited ]

I recently found this great technique for escaping in Cops and Robbers...

If I ever need to get a whole load of people off my tail when carrying the gold, I simply find the nearest parking lot and drive up. It sounds stupid, but the effects can be hilarious

As you reach the top, all of the other chasers start piling up as they squeeze their way through the narrow ascent. All you have to do is jump off the top and leave them to find a way out while being rammed and ramming others :smileytongue: It usually gives you a good 500 yard head-start. :Winner: Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

Anyone else got any good tips for Cops and Robbers?

I do this when I am the target in marked man. I just wait there on the top floor, till they all come jostling up, then jump off and win!

this can be very confusing to be on the recieving end of, if they guy your chasing goes into a carpark, do you follow him in or wait for him outside ?

Re: Parking lot syndrome in Cops and Robbers

obviously wait outside, but don't stand in the middle of the road, you'll get smashed for sure.

other tips, when you've got the gold, and you got a partner who is going significantly faster than you (due to the gold capping your max speed), let them take you down, they will take the gold from you and will continue driving at a much faster speed then the capped speed when you lug around gold. You'll notice some people do that and it's for that very reason. Having said that, your team should probably consist of a car that accelerates really fast, like the uberschall 8 (yes this thing accelerates faster than the pcpd special, don't bother arguing) and another car that is fairly heavy but isn't sloppy with acceleration, like the gt concept or oval racer.
