Burnout Paradise

It kind of looks like fun, but it's £29.99 on the store and for a game that's 3 years old that's not a deal, would I be better spending my cash on another newer racer or even GTA IV?

I know overall GTA IV is a much better game, but I fancied some of the crazy racing action that BP seems to offer, or can I get just as good in the GTA game?

I would never purchase full retail games of the Playstation store too expensive the physical disk version of the Ultimate box which as all add-on content except for the island and cops packs is currently around £15.

Thanks Mont, but UK disc deals are not avilable to me as I'm currently living in Hong Kong, plus I don't mind paying a bit of a premium for digitial download because I prefer to have games on my hdd rather than swap discs.

I know I could get the game cheaper, I just wanted to know if it was worth buying 3 years down the line or if other games had come along since (ie GTA4) that superceded it in most ways.

You can't compare GTA4 to Burnout, 2 very different games.

I still say BP is the best racer on PS3, nothing comes close in terms of the online experience. Very easy to find a game and it is enjoyable if you find the right players.

I've had it since release and I still play it every so often even after all this time.

Burnout Paradise has always been one of the best games ever on PS3 for me. Endless fun, especially online. Personally I'd go for the Ultimate Box rather then from the Store, either way its defiantly a game you want in your collection.
