i've been away from paradise for a while the last thing i remember was the scrolling news screen. so i thought id fire it up and see what had changed so some updates later and i got in

new colour scheme? urrrgh looks horrible!

im not totally convinced by the options when your starting up either. i just want to get in and get racing that was the beauty of the origional

but i can see that they are trying to make it more of a community game so hats off to them for working on it all the time although i miss the news screen the music that was on it if you visted it again after you loaded the game was great always wanted to download it (not paradise city btw )

has the game changed? well fundamentally no it was nice to see all the origional instant mayhem was still there and there seem to be less idiots around now getting the hang of some of the cars again was interesting! one thing im curious about is it actually worth buying any of the packs? or should i wait until the island comes out? maybe the packs will be bundled as one. the two id be tempted to buy would be the legendary cars pack and the cops and robbers which in a way is just TCTF

legendary cars is good but abit steeply priced considering it is just a few cars with fancy features, cops/robbers is good. the toy cars are lots of fun actually but definetly get the island.
