About Buzz online play

Simple Question. 

 

My other half bought me Buzz the ultimate music quiz now the question is this can i play my version of buzz against my dad's version of buzz which is the TV quiz? If not this would be a shame but not a problem but it would be nice if it was possible. 

 

We tried playing online but for some reason we could not create or join any online games in our own version.s through quick play/match.

No, both need to be on the same game since most questions are read from blu-ray (store packs aside)
