Wrong answers for questions

As we have been playing buzz we think, might not be completly true, but we think there might be at least two questions that have wrong answers,

1. A smurf question that doesn't allow the answer of Grumpy. We believe there is a grumpy smurf and he is called Grumpy so we believe the answer should be allowed.

2. Mind and body there is a question about chocolate and the chemical that makes you feel good, we feel the answer is phenethlylamine acid rather than  serotonin

We may be wrong so if you know the right answer please comment.

Re: Wrong answers for questions

I posted this in another thread.

There is a question in Buzz which the answer is wrong. I think it's in the World of Sport catagory. The question shows a picture of two men doing archery. The question is "In this sport what is a direct hit called", or something similar. The answer according to Buzz is: "Bullseye". Now, I've been doing archey for years, and it's never reffered to bullseye. It's either, "Gold / Gold Ring", "Inner 10", or "X / X ring". One of the answers in Buzz is "Gold Ring", so I assume it was just a mistake.

Our's dad collection of smurfs would disagree with your theory that's it the seven drawfs we're thinking of. With the smurf question we knew there was a grumpy smurf but didn't know if he was called Grumpy

Re: Wrong answers for questions

You are not far wrong.

However, the smurf you are thinking about is Grouchy.

Re: Wrong answers for questions

We just played an online quiz with some friends and had a rather contentious question regarding which countries were members of the EU, Germany, France, Italy, England it was a multiple choice round and we chose the first three as England is not an independant country and did not sign up to the EU as such but is signed up as part of the United Kingdom.

England is part of the EU, the UK is not a country despite the fact that all websites make you choose that as the countryrather than separating them into the coutries they are.

Re: Wrong answers for questions

Wales, Scotland and England and Northern Ireland make up the United Kingdom. Despite devolution Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland are still largely ruled from Westminster despite devolution giving them some autonomy. If you look at this web site which is maintained by the European Commision it lists the United Kingdom and not Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This site also shows the same info as does this one. While I'm a proud Welshman my nationality is British and my passport clearly states on the front "European Union    United Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern Ireland"

Re: Wrong answers for questions

I got a question today which had a dubious answer.

It was a picture question and it showed the legs of a boy who had leg braces on and was running!

The question said something along the lines of "which actor is this".. The scene from Forest gump where "young" forrest was running away from the boys who were throwing stones. And according to Buzz, the answer was "Tom Hanks".. But the point is that in this scene, the ACTOR wasn't Tom Hanks, but a younger version of him (A quick search on IMDB shows that it was actually Michael Conner Humphreys).

Its obvious what they were trying to ask, but the accurate answer to the question was that it was NOT Tom Hanks!

Maybe I am being pedentic, but in my mind this is wrong!
