So what do u think of the game? i havent got it yet cause i spent all my monies on demon souls :smileysad:.This would be 10 times betta than bayonetta :smileyvery-happy: :smileytongue:

You cheeky little monkey :smileytongue:.

I am playing Bayonetta more so ner :smileyvery-happy::smileyvery-happy:.

Well I played it yesterday after I got home from work

for about 4 hrs or so.

I will be playing through Bayonetta first as it is absolutely

fantastic.

But from my very early impressions its pretty cool

very apocolyptic...I wont comment too much on the story

as Im very early in (and as I said Im going to finish Bayonetta first)

But it looks like a winner...not as good as Bayonetta though LMAO.

Seriously they are different games...and oh yes this is

not like GOW at all Its kinda a much darker version of Zelda

which I like as generally I find Nintys games too cutesy.

why god why :smileysad:, how could this crappy bayonetta beat awesome darksiders, bayonetta is just flashy moves and a crappy storryline, a girl with glasses(unsexy much :smileytongue:) and some weird climax move thing :smileytongue:. While darksiders is an epic action adventure with exploring and rpg elelments and a badass dude with a massive sword(the choas eater what an epic name)that collects souls. You even have your own horse (ruin also epic):smileyvery-happy: SO THERE.:smileytongue:

Boys behave...

As tjohn said, they are pretty much different sub-genres... though I did have a ball last night reading on different forums all the fanboy hate and battling over the hack n slash genre now that there are these new games that broadly fit into the category... All the good old DMC vs GOW vs NG fanboy wars..

Bayonetta - mission selectable fighting game with the deepest combat

GOW3 - action/adventure w fighting, platforming and puzzles. Epic presentation and hopefully a half decent story

Wrath of War - action/adventure with RPG elements thrown in.

Dante's Inferno - erm... GOW clone?... I'm not sure.. is there anything that distinguishes this one from the rest? lol

Darksiders is not linear like gow and bayonetta you can explore. You have these things called gear items which when u get u can use to unlock another part of the world, u can also use them as weapons such as the crossblade .U also have multiple weapons with which u can do combos,  syth, whip ,swordso its much more than a gow button masher.U collect souls and u go to a guy called vulgrim who sells u stuff and u also havve a steed, ruin who u can summon at any time outdoors ,to travel the world lol(theres weapon upgrades and cool armor u can find by searching).Dont underestimate the awesomeness of darksiders :smileywink: ........UNTIL you play it :smileyvery-happy:

Re: DARKISIDERS WRATH OF WAR

No, no, no, no... :smileytongue: ... while demos do give a good idea of a game, I find as often as not they can turn me off a game, rather than make me want to buy it.... eg: Uncharted, Ratchet ToD demos both left me unimpressed.

The demo in terms of linearity doesn't even acurately present one mission, or half a mission.... it is a mish mash of parts of the game (mostly the first part of the first proper mission after the interactive cutscene opening mission and the prologue mission).... much like the Batman and FEAR 2 demos.... not to mention Bayonetta is way more overpowered in the demo than what she actually is in the first few missions.... no wonder people complain about button mashing... It's a bit like playing the first 'prologue' mission of GOW2 where Kratos still has his abilities before Zeus tricks him into becoming mortal again.

Maybe I've just been reading too many GOW boards this weekend with people unimpressed by the Bayonetta demo  ... I read a comment somewhere about how the boss fight in the demo was pretty lack-lustre.... There are no boss fights in the demo. The large angel near the end of it is in fact just that, a large angel... the actual bosses are far larger, and the fights far longer, harder and 'epic' (to steal a word so often associated with God of War) :smileywink:

Exactly right ..Its one of my peevs as well.

A demo is rarely the representation of a game.

Its a taste in any way shape or form

but you cant base an opinion purely on a demo.

I recommend to all EB is your demo :smileyhappy:

Also LMAO at people comparing Bayonetta to GOW

The boss battles in bayonetta are epic indeed

the last battle was amazing (I wont spoil it for anyone though)
