Well, here it is - the world premiere of GTA V, one of the most anticipated releases in recent history.

INITIAL THOUGHTS: We're heading back to San Andrea people, but this time in the modern day. The world looks vivid, graphically it looks a bit more polished than GTA IV (as expected), but yeah... there's a tonne of variety in the trailer, lots of people from different backgrounds - fruit pickers, hookers, the rich and the poor.

And by the quick views of planes of different kinds, flight will be standard in this game. There's also a quick shot of a jet ski, so they're back in.

So far, so good.

Well Los Santos was my favorite city with the gangs and everything. I cant wait!

It'll be interesting to see what the release date will be. I believe both Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire were released on May 21, so May 2013 I would pick as a possible release date. It's obviously built on the GTA IV engine so theoretically they could get it done by this time next year, except for the fact that with the heavy slate of Christmas titles (I expect Activision and Treyarch will bring out Black Ops 2) I actually think the holiday season will work against GTA rather than with it. Given that another favourite time of year is March-April (GTA IV was April 29 while Max Payne 3 will be released in March) then that I would say is probably the most likely window for release in 2013.
