Lol, nice find it looks like alot of fun. I wasnt too impressed with the lego star wars games (i know im not the only one) but this one looks really good

In order of enjoyment for me...

Lego SW > Lego Indy > Lego Batman

I've racked up over 100 hours on the earlier PS2/PSP Star Wars games..... I'd have tried to get 100% on SW:TCS, but the PS3 version was buggy as, and kept freezing on freeplay. I did get 100% on Indy on the PSP. Batman however I've never even finished freeplay mode, and I think was the turn of the Lego genre really.

Downloaded the demo of Indy 2, and I just can't get into it.... and I'm not interested in Lego Harry Potter at all..

Ummm... I just don't know what to make of Lego Universe, lol....

Lego Harry Potter? I could get into that.....I'll have to check it out.

Kiwi, Universe looks to be cool haha. People in the beta have been commenting positively about it. If this keeps up, I'll actually consider trying it out

This is the game nobody expected to be made but when you think about it should've been the one we all saw coming. I'm sure there have been Lego PC games over the years, it's just the association between a franchise and LEGO has cheapened both companies in a way. LEGO in games is fitting into a mould, sacrificing imagination. For the franchises like Star Wars, Batman, Harry Potter, Lego for them is like a celebrity getting Simpsonised for the show, just trendy.

So now that we have a LEGO game not tied down to the hallmarks of x franchise, we see the defining themes of LEGO push through... imagination and variety. That's what the trailer indicates, and I think it will end up an awesome experience.
