this is big for the split screeners, who have their friends over or play with other members of the family.

when playing with another person, turn a second controller on and press x to add another controller into play, then sign in your second controller as another account off your ps3.

you can only have a splitscreen of two when doing this method though, you can sign in more but they dont appear

I have tried it out  and it seemed to work ok although its still early days yet online

See in other games, like Motrorstorm Apoc and LBP, you can do this, but your "guest" account will not be seen as online by their friends list. however, they are obtaining rank (MS) and items (LBP) as they are playing with you. So when you pop on over ot their account afterwards, all they have gained will be there.

Looks like you could play split screen with up to 4 players, I don't know if this was in previous CoDs as I never tried it!

CoD has allowed 4 player split screen for a while, I at least know it was in CoD 4. But you couldn't take split screen online until BO, and then only 2 players.

But this is bots, so maybe thats the closest we're getting.

I havent experienced any major lagging with the split screeners so far which is a good sign
