Ahh, the infamous mw2 Boycott

Lol, remember this? Ofcourse you do, it was like the internet rage at the time!
And guess what, it's returned it seems.
the 'overpriced' mw2 map pack is getting more people to boycott it, we all know this won't work.
The actual boycott for the full game didn't even work! Trust me, this won't. I was even one to 'sign' the boycott thing around the internet. Where was I on the release date at around 9am? Sainsbury's to pick up my copy for half price.
These things just don't work, so why to people even try?!

Wh do people bother trying?

Ask yourself... You signed up for the first petition and ignored your own actions anyway.. Why?

Re: Ahh, the infamous mw2 Boycott

I was planning on boycotting it but once I found it in Sainsburys for £26 I couldn't see the point any more, I did not and will never pay over £40 for one game, as for the dlc I might have to buy that if it turns out to be worth it.

[ Edited ]

DLC is usually a rip off. I had all the map packs for COD 5 didnt really add much to the game for £8. Its just peer pressure. I'm not buying any more DLC from COD games anyway,

Re: Ahh, the infamous mw2 Boycott

Erm I would just like to point out that my boycott DID work.

Over 13 million people bought MW2

Over 6 BILLION did not.

You do the math :smileyvery-happy:

What is the point in having a signature?

Re: Ahh, the infamous mw2 Boycott

i think they should at price the maps for about £5 or £6 not £15, i mean thats just a rip off.. i mean rember when they first released it to? they even put the price up for the full game then...

they just know that its a good selling game so they can put the price to whatever they like and know that some people are willing to pay for it

i mean i bet if they put the maps at £20 people would still buy it.. its rediculous.. its only 5 maps.. and 2 of them are old maps from COD4 as well

i hope bad company 2 ends up being the better game (i even think it is haveing played both) in the end cause at least they save us money buy giveing us free maps..
