Alternative ways to report boosters?

[ Edited ]

Ok ive finished MW3 in free for all tonight and the last game I had there were two boosters in it  using the tactical insertion glitch to win the game. Which for some reason IW chose to leave in the game after Treyarch took it out in FFA.

As soon as the game was over they left the lobby so I didn't have time to report them, how else can I report them, cheaters really get my goat.

In the normal multiplayer screen press Triangle to bring up your friends. . .you can go left and right to get to "recent players" then you can find the people, click em, and choose "Report" then "Boosting".

Re: Alternative ways to report boosters?

Thats true but theres an option for exploiting too, whats the difference?! After all they were exploiting a flaw in the game.

technically its still boosting, exploiting is considered dthings like under the map glitches... basically things in the game that are actually broken. using something in the correct way (like in this case) is not exploiting anything (in a sense it is, but not in the way activision see it), but it is very much boosting. Fair enough to report them for both though.. there is no harm in doing this at all (thats why a say to everyone now, if you even slightly suspect somethings going on that is wrong, report them... if it is wrong they get banned, if not it doesn't matter, nothing will happen).

Re: Alternative ways to report boosters?

Always wonder why were not allowed to name and shame...boosters, cheaters ect

Now iw excuse seems pretty lame, person named and shamed, might get harrashed because of this

The security team, there job might be open to question if videos get posted

I reported 2 players 6 weeks ago, checked stats in elite, and there still playing, along with there 20 other friends who alos boost

Nmaing and shaming would bring it to the front, everyone would be able to check the mw3 boards for the latest boosters video,

Re: Alternative ways to report boosters?

I reported one a few weeks ago using the in-game report, also took a photo of the final scoreboard and sent that pic off to fourzerotwo on Twitter. They were Prestige 10 Rank 80.

Bumped into them again this week and they were only Prestige 7-8. So it looks like IW do take action against them.

I've read on other forums that if you get caught a second or third time they not only reset your stats but add millions of deaths so it gives you a terrible KDR.

Think someone asked if they could do this, but were told to make a report through the ps3

I must admit, iw arent helping them selfs, surely a open forum, with videos could do alot, even allowing them to view the videos, and see the evidence right in front of them, no need to go looking

Just use the in-game report, there's an option for boosting in there. Then take a photo with your mobile, upload to PC and then follow fourzerotwo on Twitter and post the photo on there.

Those who have been doing that token glitch are getting straight bans because there are a few posts on the official MW3 forums with people moaning about being banned.
