What a nightmare!! The game itself is very good, seems the infrastructure to actually get a game is somewhat lacking. Which i find extremely surprising considering we're on the 9th Call of Duty!

Well online on launch day for me went swimmingly to be honest. I was expecting not to connect, drop outs/freezes/lag and all sorts, which is the norm for COD launch day. But I didn't get it.

INstead, I played for 2.5 hours and enjoyed every minute of it....except for when I was host (lag compensation)

I think the guns are excellent, they feel good and sound pretty good too. The maps seem really good too, I love the colour of some of them, and the varied feel of them all. The Score streaks are a great edition, and no longer can you just rape a team one after the other from your kill streaks alone.

I had a right good time playing and it feels as enjoyable as COD4 in my opinion. It's obviously different but it felt very stable to me and I had much fun.

I know lots of people today are complaining of not connecting today and freezing, but so far I haven't come across that.

Black ops 1 was a nightmare from day one ,crashing for 6 weeks and destroying consoles !!

Poor levelling up system, Infinity Ward really make levelling up exiting, you hardly notice it with Black ops.

Poor Killstreaks .... really, really poor .... no fun.

Maps are very similar, none are special.

Game freezes , it's happened about 4 times in 8hrs, my PS3 has to save it self.

My initial feelings were really positive, now, I feel disappointed .

I'll be playing as much MW3 as I will Black ops 2

Yeah, the menu system is poor compared to MW3, I haven't been unlocking everything just stuff that I might think will be interesting.

There should be no problem having enough coins though.

Personally I think the "Scorestreaks" not killstreaks are good, different and not over powered like they were in the other games. The menu system is not as good but the Pick10 systems is by far better than previous.

I don't find leveling up as exciting but I like discovering the new stuff and unlocking what I want, it means I have to read and understand each thing, so its better.

Not had freezes yet, lets see tonight when I get home.

And no Sabotage either.  I usually like to play a varient of that in private matches.

Can't say too much about online play (apart from its borked!)

But....

(So far...) Campaign is pretty good (apart from that "Downloading Game Settings" loop i get stuck on whenever i pause the game....am i the only one?) Think i should have played Blops1 campaign again to refresh me old memory, think it would have helped with the Blops2 story! 

Zombies : Was never any good at this in WaW or Blops1 but enjoyed it anyway. Blops2 Zombies is even better (But i'm still worst than useless at it!)

Multiplayer : Will tell you when its working properly.  BUT when playing the offline / local play / bots thing it's great!
