Announced at E3, xbox users get Black ops II DLC first (Presume it'll be the usual "30 days later for everyone else" deal). Nothing about the length of the re-newed contract but i'm guessing it'll cover the next couple of CoD games.

No surprise but i was hoping Activision wouldn't renew the contract with Microsoft especially with the whole Premium Elite thing.

I am not exactly shocked, but I really hoped that this would not be the case again.

On a different game related note: the new Tomb Raider first DLC also coming to Xbox first.

Why are Sony/Playstation constantly allowing this?

I don't think its a case of Sony allowing it, I think its just Microsoft make it worth their while $$$ wise to have the dlc on xbox first.

Nothing Sony can really do about their dealings with other companies.

I guess it all comes back to Gold Membership costs via Xbox live compared to PS +

This better not happen again because it really feels like sony/playstation dont really care that this is one reason why xbox has been outselling ps3 because some people are going to get elite for blackops 2 and already non paying xbox members are still getting thing before ps3 members who are paying for elite. All my friends including me on ps3 were thinking this contract was over and this going to start ***** people off. but i still will always love ps3 and psn.

In a way I've just come to accept it (Although I am slightly pee'd off that the Xbox will be getting Resident Evil 6 DLC first. That said, I may end up getting RE6 on both consoles anyway)

At least when we get DLC, its not bugged and full of exploits (going out the map, invisible wall for protection, etc. Well, half the time they arent bugged). You could say that xbox users 'beta' test the maps for us so that we get the proper finished product!

Everyone keeps saying that Call of Duty will always be better on Xbox, but the Playstation is just as important, for the simple fact that we dont pay for online. we save an average of £40 a year because as long as they keep bringing out a new CoD every year, people will renew their XBL Subs, so they pay around £80 on CoD, we pay £40
