Probably has already been asked but I am unable to find an answer , The COD Elite is now available for purchase from the store so my question is, if I purchase this will I still have to wait a month between map packs being released on the Xbox and the PS3 ?

If so what's the point ?

I still haven't pre ordered the special edition including elite for 79 so I might get the normal one and buy it off the PS Store?

That's what I was thinking , so I wont be buying Elite.I'll just pick up whatever DLC I like .If Elite meant that all gamers on all systems got the DLC at the same time I'd have picked it up.

Not 100% but i think i read somewhere it's either £35 or £36,

 depending on how much your pre-order is, you could save youself more than a fiver over the hardened edition!

My pre-order was £37 from amazon just after it became available so i'll end up saving £7 if the hardened edition is £79
