COD4 was good back in the day, but when people say its the best shooter ever..... id have to say no. The best games ive played are Battlefield games, im no fan boy, but big wide open maps with vehicles just suits me better.

I'm sorry but i've had to report you Disco for the following reasons: Baiting, trolling, treason, defamation of cod4 name, creating anti cod4 propaganda threads and for rebelling against the alliance.

COD4 set the bar as the modern fps shooter which created a new generation of online elite gamers, it was the game which was the constant 0 which all games were measured against. It had a flawless online experience which 5 years later still cannot be beaten.

I rest my case.

COD4 was the first cod game to be ruined and stillbe ruined with hackers, do you not remember the infamous god mode? And the helicopter hack? COD online are 'THE' worst games to play online as they are full of holes in the games security.

Its badly hacked now yes, simply because IW don't give a monkeys about that game now.

Ok, I'll mention the 'overpowered' guns like the M16 and MP5, the M40A3 sniper rifle that you just needed to have your enemy on the screen somewhere and press fire to score a one hit kill, juggernaut, martyrdom, frag X 3, helicopter kills counting towards your next helcopter, rpgs that were almost useless against helicopters unless they were at arms length and shooting you in the face already, and some quite frankly shocking and tiny maps. And Bog.

I think a lot of people choose to overlook these problems, and possibly didn't even see them at the time due to it being a huge leap looks and sound wise to what we were used to.

It was fun at the time though.

COD4 was at it's time awesome but then I loved WAW more than COD4 but after blops release i went back to COD4 and loved it again. Wish they kept the kill streaks like in COD4 to be honest. The best part of it for me though has to be the map design, there wasn't a single map I didn't like, they were all awesome and I was so happy when they were released as DLC for MW2.
