I'll be getting both BF3 and MW3 because they are both good in their own way. MW3 will more than likely be on a new engine (no proof but surely Activision know they can't compete with Frostbite).

Also for those interested, full game reveal of MW3 is this wednesday.

is would be cool if they made upgraded the frostbite engine into a frostbite2 for BF3.

(eg. even more detail into the destructible environment - get rid of all the glitchy/poppy things that happen in MP a lot such as trees doin all weird stuff, and more ways that infastructure collapses. And things like being able to create a peep hole in the wall with your M60 and things like that.)

Guess it's not a new engine....just the same old same old.

I do like the trailer, but reeeeeeeeeaally disappointed that it's using the CoD4/MW2 engine still by the looks. Graphics look so outdated:

I believe I was showing the first trailer release for it and commenting on the hype to come.... Don't blame the messenger for bringing the message.

Truth to tell I'm looking forward to BF3 more than this, but there's not one person who's commented and derailed this thread that could deny that MW3 will outsell BF3 by a long shot.

They have upgraded it and it is frostbite 2 lol. It has better dynamic lighting and the destruction is a lot more detailed and massive. Its going to be insane! Thats why all the gameplay videos look so realistic, they arnt CGI its actually in game gameplay. And the sound is going to be sexy!

And apparently the COD team have done "improvments" to the what now 5 year old engine? haha and they think they are going to have a better game...... Unfortunatly most of the mindless idiots out there will still buy cod and completly ignore battlefield. And once again COD will have massive sales. Lets just hope that BF3 has a massive hike in sales to at least close the gap a little bit. I hate it how a *****ter game can pull more sales then one that has been thought about and that has had actual work put into it. But spose I should be used to that now.......

The truth is i get more life out of COD games than i do with other FPS.

The only other FPS games that have kept me interested are KZ2 & MAG....KZ3 lasted about 5 mins before i gave it away....I hope BF3 has some lastability....
