I'm going to use my own PES v FIFA comparision.
Where Fifa plays a good game the thing i find lacking wth it is charm. The single player has no life and it just feels one big slog. This is where PES has the -only- upper hand, and most of that is down to the still charming and very fun to play master league.
Which is where -in my opinion- COD has the upper hand to BF, it's in the story mode, -yes i know the story initself is tosh- but the set-pieces come in bundles and they -like every other FPS- use the invisible wall system for waves of enemies, but it's in the presentation that the Infinity Ward MW that i think they will hold BF at arms length.
Why because they are just extremely fun to play, and it's the reason why i'm getting both. COD for the Story and set piece, plus BF for the MP. and i'll get rid of the one i'm not playing after 2 months.
One of the reasons i have always believed COD has become the success it has, is because it's easy for the casual gamer to pick up and play. Which is down to how they mapped the controller.
By the way if you notice i'm not using brackets and question marks, it's because my shift keys have stopped working, making this a nuisence.
all made perfik sense to me, despite the lack of a shift function lol

I do like the CoD stories from infinity ward. Although what they've shown from this one, it doesn't look at all disimilar to MW2's storymode. I hope for those buying it for the Single Player (However small that group may be) that it will be better and considerably different from MW2's story and gameplay giving up fresh and new ideas/experiences.
As far BF3's story. I think you should have a look at Dice's Battlelog on their Campaign mode, They're definitely taking a huge step forward storywise. Remember, this isn't Bad Company anymore so it'll be a new story. Here's a trailer of part of it: Battlefield 3: Guillotine Gameplay

Yeah people prefer COD because its a pick up and play , more casual and not so much of a team game. MW2 was popular for that reason and thats why i think it will be the FPS most people will go to again over Battlefield. They are both different games and its funny seeing the nerds argue over which one is best lol. COD has been getting alot of hate thanks to Treyarch for making such a boring and broken game but it will be back to a fun game once MW3 comes.

COD has been getting alot of hate thanks to TreyarchI think you'll find COD was getting hate well before black ops....for making such a boring and broken gameThe game isn't broken? hence thousands of people online playing it fine right now?but it will be back to a fun game once MW3 comes. This screams IW bias (like CB) You can't say that definitively, you haven't played it yet and plus if it was anything like MW2 it will be anything but fun...
You sound like cloudburst...
I accept your opinions your just doing in his way with illogical and unsupported statements (See above)
