After seeing the multiplayer gameplay i was left massively disappointed, it reminded me of PES in comparison to FIFA. For year FIFA was the whipping boy of the vastly superior PES, while PES kept bringing the same game out over and over again just with little tweaks here and there, FIFA was finding its feet until it has become vastly superior to PES.

I can't help but feel that this is going to happen with COD the same old same old is really beginning to grind, and while I'm not a fan of it Battlefield 3 does look and sound much better. Activision needs to do something with the series its pretty much the same game as 5 years ago much like PES.

As a long time COD fan I won't be buying this one what does everyone else think, no fanboys please!

Still on the fence. Conference didn't reveal as much as i wanted but it did get me intrested.

Waiting for the perks & full  pointstreak lists among other details...

I'm not  buying anymore COD'S as I'm fed up with the series now.  In my opinion it's the same game every year, using the same game engine, ok the places might be different for each installment but it still plays the same.  I'm just getting bored of it now.

That is a very good comparison.

In terms of quality and innovation BF3 will destroy MW3. DICE have made a new game engine re recorded all the sound effects, re done all the animations. But  MW3 is using the same engine form MW2, the sound effects sound the same the animations look the same. Really annoying that MW3 will probably make over a billion dollars yet they have this really half arsed effort. It's like they have no desire to make the game as good as it can be like DICE will do with BF3.

Still looking forward to it but there is no doubt in my mind that BF3 will be the superior game

Watched the trailer and agree it is more MW2 in a nutshell, however i'm still not bored with CoD and for sure will be buying it.

The new killstreak system looks pretty cool, Gaining flak jackets for your team etc.

The new Team Deathmatch Mode where you actually have to pick up the dog tags for the kill to be confirmed. (Guess to stop campers, in a way).

Can't wait!

I will definitely be getting bf3 this year, and may give mw3 a miss. I haven't had a battlefield game before but the footage is just looking to good compared to what looks like mw2.5

This is the exact same as me. Trying to convince my mates now to try BF3.

Whilst Fifa is the better game, or more complete game, it doesn't have that PES magic. so for me that anaology doesn't quite work. 

Thing is with BF3. It looks AWESOME. however. I'm a bit concerned about the lack of Console footage, particulary in the MP side to it. No way is the Caspian border footage represensative of Console versions.

I keep thinking early need for speed........
Had a great formula added a couple of elements ruined the game. They removed them and never could get that magic again because it never improved on the stuff which worked.
Never fixed issues at the core of the game and as a results it sales failed.

As for BF3 your in for a shock. It plays different to COD.....and is a whole new game so don't jump in thinking it like COD. Hope people keep that mindset when it comes to the beta.

For me am still mixed about MW3. I wanted them to be radical about this game. Going back to the drawing board trying to fix all the issues with the game.
