Ok, First off I know there are a million threads on lag, but since the latest patch I've been getting lag I've never experienced before.

So I'll start a game, connection is fine, everything is running smoothly but around midway through the game I'll get 30 seconds of horrible lag. I'm not 100% sure it's lag or frame rate issues but it looks like I get 1 frame per second for those 30 seconds. My screen will freeze for a second then show me moving for a second then freeze again, this goes on for 30 seconds, then everything goes back to normal.

I'm not sure if it happens to anyone else at the time, because I always seem to get killed while I'm trying to find a corner to hide in But one thing I do know is that every 2-3 games it will happen to me no matter what my connection is like.

I've looked on theater mode but it doesn't really show what I'm seeing at the time but everyone else seems to be moving fine.

Has this happened to anyone else or has anyone heard of this 'new' type of lag?

glad its not just me then, i had it a few times while playing yesterday & day before.i always run fine with 4 bat etc,,i kept clicking select and bars were fine and i couldnt work out what it was i was so confussed as i thought  it was something my end....

I don't think they have ever released a patch that hasn't caused more problems

If anyone expect IW to try and fix there game am sorry to let you down but they will not !!!!!

Hopefully they know of this and if its on the X box then am sure they will try and fix it and make it worse !

Am going on blops this weekend not for the enjoyment of the game , just to have lag free just generally a better cod experience !

I will get that sometimes and then when I quit host migration comes up.

I know when I'm host because it's either framerate or network lag that kicks in and makes the game unplayable.

I don't think splitscreeners help as well. I was playing last night and in a game with 2 splitscreeners and it was terrible. They should give these their own playlist to play on.

Some days are worse than others which I can't undetstand. Last night wasn't to bad but the day before was horrible.

When this game was first released I had no problems at all with it but as soon as they started releasing patches it got worse.

yep, I've had exactly this too in recent days, tends to coincide with being host so I reckon it's their poor attempt at fixing the lag compensation......normally I've 4 bars when it's at its worst, switches to 1 bar sometimes during the lag period....pain in the proverbial
