Well no we arent, I paid for something that wasnt fit for purpose, so we are not lucky and I would like my money back or my subscription to be extended for 12 months from the stage when clan ops actually becomes operational.

Ok I did go into a bit of a rant there, think I should step away from the thread now, before I start doing damage to my blood pressure

We would defo be up for a friendly little game, if it works that is.  As we had a match this week and couldnt get more than 9 in a lobby, with multiple people trying to host, MW3 fail.  Another mini rant for you there

that would be the best place to start for trying to get a clan battle or a friendly clan match settled up the problem isnt setting up the match its trying to getthe people to come lol

Internetz rumours say Clan Ops may be starting very soon. CallOfDutyElite posted this on twitter yesterday :

"New ELITE functionality is almost here. Tomorrow, your most anticipated feature goes fully operational. Stay tuned."

What are Clan Operations?

Clan Operations are competitions which score players and Clans based on a specific statistic in a selected game mode over a pre-set period of time.  Operations can range from Most Team Deathmatch Kills to Most Captures in Domination, generally last for three to four hours, and award real prizes and ELITE badges.

The two key differences between Clan Operations and Lone Wolf Operations are that Clan Operations score members of Clans instead of independent players, and Clan Operations award Clan XP.  Please note that only the scores of up to six Premium members of your Clan will count towards winning prizing.  

How do I enroll my clan in a Clan Operation?

Your Clan Leader must enroll your Clan into a Clan Operation.  You can request your Clan Leader to enroll your Clan on your Clan Feed or via Xbox Live or Playstation Network message.

Can we challenge other clans in an operation?

Not directly. Clan Operations allow clans to compete for placement on the Clan Operation Leaderboard. The top six scores of the participating Premium members in your Clan are combined and ranked on the Clan Operation Leaderboard.    

How are prizes awarded?

Prizes are awarded according to the Winning Criteria of a Clan Operation and your Clan's performance on the Clan Operation Leaderboard.  

An example of winning Criteria:

- Champion: Single best Clan
- Gold: 90-100%
- Silver: 75-90%
- Bronze: 50 75%

How do I know my clan is enlisted for the Clan Operation?

You can confirm that your Clan is enlisted by checking the Clan Operation detail page.  Your clan will show up as "Enlisted" if enlisted or "Not Enlisted" if your Clan is not enlisted.

Why can't I see how the other clans are performing during the Operation?

Due to winner verification procedures, the leaderboard is not published until after the Clan Operation has completed.

Will there be real prizes for any of the operations like in some of the Lone Wolf Operations?

Yes, some Clan Operations will offer real prizes and virtual prizes such as badges and Clan XP as well.

How long will it take to post the winners?

Dependent upon the type and dollar value of a prize for a Clan Operation, it may take seven to ten days after the conclusion of the Event or Operation to verify and notify any and all potential winners by email.

Why didn't my score help towards my Clan's rank on the Operation leaderboard?

Only Premium member scores that are in the top 6 of your Clan's Performance factor into your Clan's ranking.   

How can I tell which players' scores will count towards clan ranking?

You can tell which players' scores count by checking the top 6 Premium members listed in the Your Clan's Performance section of the Clan Operations details page.  

My clan got XP but I didn't.  Why?

Clan Operations only award Clan XP on ELITE and not XP in Call of Duty: MW3 or Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Will Clan Operations be available in Hardcore Mode?

We will introduce variation in type of Clan Operations offered on ELITE over time and Hardcore Modes are definitely part of the plan.

What types of Clan Operations will be made available?

The initial Clan Operations that will be made available are:

Co-Op Warriors - Highest Total Kills: Core Team Deathmatch

Sticky Fingers - Highest Total Captures: Core Domination

Flagged for Removal - Highest Total Defends: Core Domination


What type of bragging rights are we going to get as the winning clan?

Clans can receive badges for their Clan Showcase and Clan XP to progress their Clan Level based off their performance in Clan Operations based off their performance.  Clan Level unlocks include:

No, your members can participate in different lobbies.

How do I suggest an Event to my Clan Leader?

You can suggest an event to your Clan Leader on your Clan Feed or via Xbox Live or Playstation Network message.

Will my score be counted if I join a clan during a Clan Operation?

If you join a Clan that has already enlisted in a Clan Operation, the stats you accumulate after you join the clan will count.  If you leave a Clan while it's enlisted in a Clan Operation, your score will be removed.  

Is there a minimum number of people needed to participate in a Clan Operation?

There is no minimum to participate.  However, only the scores of up to six Premium members of your Clan will count towards winning prizing.  

Why aren't the clan leaderboards updating immediately?

The overall Clan Operation Leaderboard is not posted until after the Clan Operation has completed and winners have been verified by our Pathfinder team.  However, your clan's performance updates at various intervals throughout the course of a Clan Operation.  

I lead/belong to a clan in a different country. How will I know when Operations are taking place?

You can check when Clan Operations are taking place by visiting the Compete section at https://elite.callofduty.com/compete  The time for Clan Operation will be automatically adjusted to the territory time code you specified in your ELITE account details.
