I just bought the COD4 variety map pack online. I bought it for £6.99 then after that i downloaded it. I went onto the game and there was no new maps. why? someone help me

They come around randomly like the other maps when you play online. In private matches you find them under bonus maps when you set up the game.

there is no 'bonus maps' under private match or split screen. I have tried to get a match for about 1 hour on one of the new maps and they arnt showing up anywhere

The maps are region locked i think. Did you purchase the maps of the store using an account on the US store but have a European copy of the game for example?

my disc number is BLES 00148. i downloaded it off a UK store on the online playstation store. Because the price with a '£' sign and not a '$' sign.

i downloaded them, they arnt showing up in private matches

The only other thing i can suggest is deleting the mapack from your hardrive and reinstalling it. You'll have to re-download the latest patch aswell. I'm not a techy so can only suggest whats already on this board.

assuming you haven't got a reply.........you know where you click on the disc icon when you fire up your PS3? It should appear below that in like a small square bubble. IIRC JUST PRESS 'x' and it will install itself.

disk icon? I don't really understand, where abouts is the disk icon? and where is the bubble
