Kinda left scratching my head with the game at the moment , something feels off , everywhere i look i see team mates and enemies skating about like it's some sort of roller disco ( was big in the 80's people , ask your parents!! ) now i know there's always lag of some sort as it is cod after all , but this is different.

For me it goes down the route of , ambling along nicely spot an ememy about mid range bring my gun to bare and start hitting him , he fires back and i die...........easily , this leads me to raise an eyebrow and watch the kill cam , raise another eyebrow when i see myself getting shot mid-sprint and not firing!!???

Also seems to be a commando lunge just now as well , there always has been a small lunge when knifing about 4 or 5 ft , but this is full on skating commando stylie!!

First noticed about 2 weeks ago when i was lunged from about 10ft.........up a staircase no less!!

I've also lunged from a similar distance myself , today in fact on the Foundation map..........felt a bit dirty afterwards.

My stats over the last few weeks have been plummetting , my kdr has dropped a fair bit but i've kinda steadied the ship a little , more alarmingly though is my accuracy it's went from over 20% to probably 18 something. I'm putting this down to the fact i'm shooting a lot and getting hit markers , but when i die i'm not firing ( or i've managed to get one shot off? ).

Is it just me??

Any word on a patch in the near future??

Was happening to me for about a week until i switched to a wired connection. O.k for me now (apart from the expected bit of lag & been in French/Spanish lobbies all the time!)

There is a series of updates (2 or 3) on the way to fix/improve online connection and matchmaking (if the matchmaking update does what they say it'll do we'll be in lobbies a bit closer to home!)

IW devs seem pretty confident it'll be sorted after these updates.

Had some bad lag a while back (think 2 weeks ago) but since then its not been as bad.

Also forgot to add , any time i host it go's to a new level of eyebrow raising , i bounce about and glitch all over the gaff and it does make it genuinely unplayable till i quit and search for a new lobby.

Not to sure if it's at my end , i also run a wired connection which makes me wonder if there's something i can do to improve it??

Does anyone know how it selects the host , i'd have thought it would pick someone in a central location to the lobby you are currently in??

Get worse internet!

Best to hold on till the updates are released i guess.

Xbox users got this in a patch yesterday :

Add telemetry for matchmaking for future improvements.

NOTE: Matchmaking changes coming after patch with this new data.

We'll be getting the same in our next update.

Man that tunes gonna be stuck in my head for longer than 10hrs

Try turning off Theatre recording mode, seems to make a lot of difference for me
