I do still have the game for the ps3, and i dont care if i am being a fool for not playing online in case it breaks or damages the drive, im guessing the only reason i still have the game is that i havent got platinum yet,

its just a couple more spec ops and im done with it totally, and i think i will get BC2, although i found it to be a bit slow but im sure i will adjust. i just hope in the full game it doesnt take more than two shots in the face to kill as it was in the beta.

The reason why i play it on the Xbox is mostly because the team i play with, we have all been freinds for a couple of years now and the way we play means we win the vast majority of games, were not a clan just a bunch of beer drinking soul crushers, 

I have tried getting my freinds on psn to play the same way but some of them just dont listen and all they want to do is run the spawns and get loads of kills rather than win overall with fewer kills.

Anyway if anyone is interested in getting the map pack for MW2 early on xbox = 

  You cant play the maps yet, just avoid the rush!

The Xbox has an install option for EVERY game, but it's not a feature that comes with the games, its the 360 itself which had an update to allow people to do this.

Its not IW giving the 360 and install option and not us.

bottom line is iw dont hate the ps3 they are just paid a crapload of money from microsoft to promote and give timed exclusives to xbox the way they do.

They (IW/Activision & every other developer) have to put a commnd on the disc to "allow" the data to be moved from the disc to the harddrive, along with a copy or a key for the DRM (Digital Rights Management).

A very basic description but i think thats about it dude.

Correction: Activision. 

@Op: Its not IW to blame at all. Yes, it would seem the majority of the game designers / devs own a 360, and play the game on the 360 but thats there choice. Remember, the 360 has the american marker whereas Japan, and (i think) Europe are Sony territories. 

But its Activision who make all the decisions. They accepted x million from M$. They decided against dedicated servers. They, eventually screwed IW over. 

Activision are the tw@ of the game industry. Even worse than the GTA publishers! 

Blame Activision, not IW. Besides, theres a good chance that IW will end up with a different publisher (and potentially xbox exclusive) and depending on the pending lawsuit, COD with it. (No IW = Treyarch doing it all... eep!)

Btw, didnt IW patch the PS3 version to improve the matchmaking? Yes they did... they wouldnt do that if they were 360 fanboys!

true but my point was that they are being paid to do all theyre video promos etc on the xbox version.

 It's exclusive for xbox because microsoft obviously payed/bribed them to give them a 1 month start-ahead. I think microsoft is who you should be blaming not IW, it's only a month.

Don't see it as a bribe, makes it sound illegal

But yeah effectively it's no more than a timed exclusive - IW sure as hell wouldn't hate the users of a console who brought at least 40% of their game sales, it's just that when Microsoft shove a briefcase full of sparkly notes in front of your face just to let them have a headstart on the DLC, you're not gonna say no.
