Anyone had a problem with the game crashing, it crashed last night once (turned off the system) started playing again today and it's crashing ALL the time, I looked at the disc and it's fine, It doesn't have one mark... not ONE. Anyone else had this problem? Any fixes? Thanks.

It crashes on the loading screens before and after games , I even took the disc out and when it told me to put it back in I did and it told me it wasn't CoD4!? w.tf?

My system just crashed while I was playing Shipment.  It just froze mid-game and I had to power on and off to clear fault.  Maybe it's the same problem as you are having.  I'v never had it freeze mid-game before now????  Hopes it's a one off.

Just crashed again, if it doesn't do it before the game it does it after the game almost all the time. Took the disc out again and the same thing with it telling me it's not CoD4... Oh dear.

"This is not the correct disc (game id xxxx99999)."

I think something may be wrong with the network, i've just been playing Warhawk and Cod4 and i had screen freezing on both games and had to restart my PS3, i havent had a screen freeze in ages until today and now ive had three.................it can't be coincidence.

It could be a common error i seem to read around here all the time. the Blu-Ray part of the console stops working. Have checked the technical help section?

Dear lord! just crashed on the Intro while I was Typing some witty comment to numb-nutz... but now I don't feel like sharing it with you... Tis a sad day indeed.

What are you trying to say? my PS3 could be... broken? no no, that can't be it. You're just fooling with me, right? RIGHT!?

Soz' Frip hadn't read Nutz's reply. Might be a network problem then. I'll fire up my PS3 and check how mines fairing. Have you checked to see if your other games work?

Not yet, but I'll see if GTA will work. I really hope it's not dead, I like my 60g PS3. I don't wan't a crappy 40g one (no offence to all you 40g owners)

What does a grey disc with a white crack down it mean? It also says "Corrupted Data" next to it... I'm predicting it's not good
